Would the real crossfit burn down your gym at night?

If actual crossfit people started training there the way they usually do, burning it down doesn't seem that much worse tho.

The national Crossfit folks seem litigious. A C&D would be forthcoming, I would imagine.

I believe Rebok owns the trademark rights to the name " Crossfit".
I've read reliable info that they will use legal means to close or force a name change of any place using the crossfit name without authorization.

LOL, to me a "crossfit gym" looks more like a construction work site then a gym to lift at .
It's not a bad idea to switch things up when training but I don't think it deserves to be trademarked .

For example :
Running laps in the parking lot while carrying a sand bag , combined with: pushups, jerky pullups, and burpees doesn't rate a trademark. ;)

you'll get a "cease and desist" from Crossfit eventually.  and if you continue to hold yourself out as a "crossfit gym" after you get the cease and desist, they'll sue you.

saw this happen firsthand.  settled before it went to court.   they own the name "crossfit".  you can't have it anywhere in your gym name or advertisements.

Gonna open up my own moving company, gather up crossfiters, charge them to move the people's stuff in the name of "working out" and make money from the people paying me to move their shit.

Total win/win.

If I weren't such a procrastinator/weed smoker, I'd totally do this...

Would crossfitters be interested in a facility where they can train all their crossfit stuff at (barbells, tractor tires, thick bars, bumper plate, pull up station ? .... ) that is not called "crossfit". It seems like they have so much money to blow.
