If I had unlimited funds it would be a mass of mountains, trestles and streams/lakes. Im not much for buildings, I like the nature look.

I had a buddy who had an amazing setup about that size except it was basically all urban type environment.

It even had a little red light district.

It's not something that I would ever be into building but they are really cool to look at.

It's amazing how big of an industry model railroading is.  Walthers was a customer of mine at one time.  HUGE warehouse and mfg. operation with everything you can imagine in every scale.  If I remember correctly, they were/are a 3 shift operation.  If you're into railroading, chances are your toys are coming from this place in the hood.

They look beautiful.
It can get ridiculous expensive.  But you can also do a lot yourself, like buildings and landscapes .
Either way its a great hobby for someone that likes to have time to himself.

It's a great hobby. I wish I had a basement where I could build a setup.
