If they would just walk with their hands up all the time  some of these incidents could be avoided.

When a citizen calls the police they have to go check it out and make contact with the subject to make sure everything is ok. That's what the officer was doing. Now the Hebrew got all uppity with him, which I understand why.

The problem is these morons calling the police when there is no need to.

Not why he was stopped, G. Had to respond to call, either way. Chickenshit, sure, but blame the callers, not the cop.

x2.

If he would of been up to no good, and the cop hadnt stopped, the headline would of read "cop fails to respond to a call, man murdered".

Oh brother, cant win with these people.

I'll add that I don't blame the guy for being upset, but be upset for what it is. Don't automatically lump it in with a bunch of other unrelated nonsense.

I'd do that if I were a Hebrew.

Here's the rest of the story. A business that has been robbed twice by young black men saw a young black man pacing in front of the building with his hands in his pockets. They thought they were going to be robbed - again - so they called the cops. The responding officer questioned and cleared the man quickly and politely.

Quote
Mckean said he was leaving a friend's house and passed a nearby business on Martin Luther King Blvd twice on Thanksgiving Day. That was his explanation for the reported 'pacing' call.

The caller told 911 that he and his employees believed they were going to be robbed, so a deputy responded. The caller said he had walked by the business five or six times and had looked inside with his hands in his pockets.

Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said that business has been robbed twice while employees have been robbed five times.
He said the responding deputy did everything by the book and showed great restraint. That's something Mckean agreed with.

"I feel like the officer was being really respectable and he didn't try to invade any of my rights...I commend him for that."

He went home minutes after encountering the deputy he was never arrested, searched or questioned but is convinced he was viewed with suspicion because he's black.

Black folk have hands that look like guns.

All of this can be avoided if they install orange reflectors on their finger tips.

alot depends on how a persons dressed, if it was a black guy who was nicely dressed carrying a breifcase and looking like he was a career type of guy i bet the cops dont give him a second glance. if its some dude dressed like a hood rat walking all bobbing up and down like some of the dudes do these days they get suspicious,im not saying its right but thats just the way it is.profiling still exist and always will,i used to get profiled all the time back in 92 when my hair was real long, cops always bothering me for some bullshit

Next up, "A black man  stopped for walking down the street in a certain neighborhood"

Oh wait, that still happens.

Well maybe that wouldn't happen so often, if you weren't walking around in certain neighborhoods.

The blacks will be stopped no matter what area they are walking in, they per capita create more crime, so statistically it's better to watch black folks than literally everyone.

a person can walk in any neighborhood they want, unless it says "no trespassing" and "residents only"...
But, what if you are a resident a la Trayvon Martin?

And they can get questioned by the cops wherever they want, it's called being a black.

Until crime stats change dramatically, young black males will be looked upon as suspects.

This, why should we feel bad about this?
