Yes, with my jacked up rotator cuff, it's the only OH movement that I can do without pain. I set it up in a rack on pins at the bottom of the press and do it dead-stop style. Added bonus for doing it on a bench with no chair-back (hat tip: TA)

Set it on rack, stick head through hole, grab handles, press. Or you could just do neutral grip dumbbell presses.

I have a rackable trap bar.... And I use it for shoulder presses

But I honestly rank regular dumbbell presses over the trap bar (as well as the straight olympic bar too)

You must have some narrow ass shoulders to do that.

It's a lot bigger than it looks. For me, holding onto the inner handles, it's just outside of shoulder width.

Wonder if Phil Heath could fit inside that trap bar.  :-\ :-\

That is what I presumed, but it still seems like it would be awkward to do. My gym does not have trap bar.

If you look closely, you will notice that Phil is indeed in the above pic. He is about to press the trap bar.

I do the movement standing.

Don't fret, Dumbbells are better IMO

He's so narrow that we can't even see him.  :o :o

.

Odd facial expression aside, this should give you an idea of the space inside the larger trap bars. I still favor neutral grip dumbbell, because you're not working around the confines of the bar, but there is a decent amount of space in them compared to the old type.
