Arnold Classic stage is a whole different ballgame - 30 years in the making
The Ferrigno Classic - this was his first contest, and with an inexperienced them, you never know what happens. Still, two day contest - Friday was the IFBB, Saturday was the NPC, and it was Santa Barbara, which is a very nice town! Pretty far from a major airport though.
Lou Ferrigno actually was very great - posed with everyone, did not ask ANYONE for any money, and took pics with all. He was in a good mood the entire two days, as well his family too. Lou Ferrigno Jr. was very cool, very gracious too.
The lights were ok, a little darker than I expected to shoot, hence the darker pictures. We needed the lights to be brighter for prejudging, and for the evening, it could be 'concert' style. Stage lighting for competitors isnt that easy - you need lights from afar that can project onto the face, hence you won't get raccoon eyes, etc.
