I had Hendricks taking rounds 2 & 3.

I had Lawler taking rounds 1 & 5.

Round 4 is where it got tricky to score. I think that round could have gone either way.

Lawler started strong and ended strong. That might have been the deciding factor in this decision.

I am assuming there will be a rematch. Dana clearly sees the potential PPV sales with a 3rd match.

Under Pride rules Robbie won, under UFC rules Hendricks got fucked

Robbie was waiting for the big counter the entire fight and it should have cost him

Hendricks gassed by late 4 round and by the 5 he wasn't doing nothing
Besides holding for dear life... I think that is what the judges saw and gave it to

go to   www.MMA-CORE.com    and watch all the fights for free, i usually wait 1 or 2 hours after the ppv is over than all the fights r up on this sight.save yourself 40 or 50 bucks

Man, big Lawler fan, but that decision was silly. Came on strong thirty seconds after the first bell, and another thirty before the last. In between was Hendricks on offense the whole time, scoring at will. Baffling.

Lawler won fair and square.  won 1,4,5 rds.  Had more significant strikes than Hendricks also.  Glad the judges got it right.  Stalling against the fence with his head between Lawler's legs does not win fights. The judges recognized this as well.

(side note)  Marc Laimon has the loudest freaking mouth and didn't anyone else get sick of hearing his shit like "hide your head, move it to the other side so he can't hit you, he's going for a KO etc. etc"  Got I wanted him to STFU big time.  He's a dweeb.  Even said in an interview before the fight that Hendricks had a broke leg in the last fight"  Hyperbole much!

The entire time being separated while Hendricks takes a breather and getting pounded on by Lawler showed who wanted it.

You need to watch this fight without the sound on because Joe Rogan was biased big time on Hendricks side.  Made it seem Hendricks was beating the shit out of Lawler when the truth is Hendricks never came close to ending the fight and didn't show up in the Championship rounds.

If Hendricks doesn't have a problem losing the fight then no one else should either.

Great fight. I think bot did a great job but Hendricks was not quite his usual self.

The last fight you just just knew Hendricks won. This time i had to leave it up to the judges.
                                   
I'm more a H. fan but i think the decision was fair.

If anything, next time its 2 outta 3. It gonna be a slugfest

It's time for the UFC to change  to  5 rounds of 3 minutes , 8 rounds for title fights , it's obvious that 80% of the fighters can't fight for 5 minutes without gassing, it would make the fights easier to score and the fights would be more explosive and entertaining.

Very good suggestion, I agree!

I also think new gloves should be brought into the octagon and that knees to the head while people are down on a knee should be instituted.

I even think the boxing scoring system shouldn't be used.

I agree with the eye pokes but I think the problem is with the fighters not the gloves , they  should penalize the fighters that use their  fingers stretched out to keep distance or set up a combination (Jon Jones ).
