He's talking about Curt James......but you summed up.  He's been making death threats to everyone including me.  If he steps one foot on my property, I will shoot him to death without hesitation.  I don't care if I go to prison for it although it wouldn't happen since NC is solid on defending yourself.  If he sets one foot near me, I'll kill him

You probably shouldn't shoot someone for stepping on your property.   :-\

If that person has threatened to kill you, you have every right to do so. Venom Vince would walk.

Can we be a bit serious for one second here?
People fired from Rx or any other forum site (iron game related) is like losing your paper route.
No ones making real money (except the supp company forums with their sponsors) Dave tried, but the Jabroni's "working" for him were just making pocket change.
They are living a fantasy dream, trying to make it in an odd (niche) market with not much money.

Imagine having a family (wife, 2 kids), house, bills, etc... And trying to "make it" with that shitty life / biz model??
Just bottom feeding losers, in a corrupt subculture, trying to make $$ off of twinks...

Forums are dying, BB is dying, fitness and Crossfit are making it (**groan**) it is what it is...

People, go get a real job and support your family, get the feck out of this horrible schmoe bidness... IDIOTS...

If they can carve out 40k a year, some might say that's enough. It is like being a teacher or some other median paying job, like a stand up comic or playing in a band. If they're happy, fuck it.

Why do people like this always claim they have "military friends"?  Military guys have something to lose if they hurt someone or do something illegal.  I would be more afraid if someone said "my friends who smoke meth and will do anything for a little cash and have your address".

I used Palumbo for a contest prep once. Seemed like a really good guy and I'm sorry to see his empire slowly crumble to pieces. He hires retards though and doesnt' learn.

If they can get by on 40K (After taxes, like 33K take home) good for them I guess. But please... I dont think that they are even making that shitty salary.
A fair amount of money only if they live in their Ma's basement.

A professional presentation trumps snaps from the crowd by fans.

Sadly when it comes to professional presentation the BB industry has always been behind the curve by a long stretch.

Excerpt from Dave Palumbo's decision to downsize.

"And now it’s time for Rx Muscle to evolve once again and get back to its roots; that which made it great and fun and such a “great ride”. As of Monday Dec 8, 2014, Rx Muscle has downsized it’s staff and consolidated its resources and will now focus on giving the fans the most hardcore, in-your-face reporting and content you’ve all grown to love from us in the past. Why am I doing this at this point in time? Well, the sad truth is that Rx Muscle pays its bills based entirely on advertising dollars, and without the advertiser’s support, there can be no content. For whatever unexplained, unfathomable, reason, over the last 12 months, most of the advertisers have pulled their support of Rx Muscle; and sadly, I can no longer afford paying the salaries and travel expenses necessary to run the website the way it was done in the past. Rx Muscle has tremendous traffic and countless daily hits to the website, yet companies are choosing not to support the effort. This saddens me; especially in light of the fact that magazine sales continue to plummet and most are on the verge of bankruptcy."

I can't stand the bodybuilding.com movement either with all those fake naturals and their 'scientific training and eating'. Those people seem to think that they are elite athletes and even worse think that recreational bodybuilders need to be 'optimal' in everything they do and live bodybuilding 24/7. So you have a bunch of 16 year old kids worrying about things like whey vs casein etc. What a joke.

Bodybuilding's years as a moderately successful sport are over.

I'll always be a bodybuilder at heart (despite my focus now on pure strength development), and it pains me to say this, but it's the truth.

There is too much ill health, shady shit and bad judging to equate to anything else but doom.

It's all drugs, cock-sucking and greedy and criminal fart powder companies.

Good post and sums up my feelings.

For many years the hardcore faithful told me I was loony to want extreme drug use out of bodybuilding.
First we saw female pro bodybuilding crash and burn when the woman pros looked like drag queens on steroids.
Bodybuilding was always going to be a cult type sport and building big muscles was the main deal from the start.

Sadly, the drug use got of control and the IFBB judges rewarded freaky size with the biggest prizes.
Supplement companies were the one , dependable sponsor left, but their products have become less reliable in recent years.
Bodybuilding became a proverbial house of cards and it's near collapse.

BB'ers don't give two shits about quality they are so vain they just want followers and praise
