TCU is ranked 3, beats their opposition by 52 and drops to number 6.
In pro sports too many players fold up once they get the big money and rely on teammates.
PGA golf on the other hand is based on you get paid that week on how well you perform, no 5 or 9 year contracts. Its based on you you and you and no teammates.
Team sports are lame as fuck
I think this is a very good thing! Hobbies are much better than watching someone else make millions of dollars playing games meant for middle school children. You get so much more out of hobbies such as building a car. You learn valuable skills, get a sense of accomplishment, set goals and are actively engaged in the activity.
It takes absolutely zero thought to watch a bunch of black guys chase each other and their balls around and then watch them pray to jesus christ and then go to jail after they blow their money. Plus there is no end in sight. Its not like it matters one bit if this team wins or that team wins, they are just going to do it all over again next year which renders it all irrelevant. Even if someone`s preferred team wins the whole thing, so what? What happens next? They are done. They achieved the highest they could. What impact does that have on the fan? Happy for what really?
I assume the fan either is trying to empathize with the victory and what it took to get there, or they think they are part of the team or they just have nothing better to do. Does not matter though if any of the reasons are true, the fan gets absolutely zero benefit from any of it and there is no satisfaction either. If there were any kind of satisfaction to be had, nobody would be watching it anymore or they would stop when their desired goal is reached. So that leads me to believe people are just watching to watch and never really thought about why they are watching it, because if they did, they might realize its a lot of time wasted on a passive activity with no great benefit whatsoever.
