Fisrt off "dum dum", the labor participation rate has been going down for a very long time...not just under Obama.....and one of the reaqsons for that is that our population is gettting bigger and bigger.. as a population gets bigger of course there is going to be a larger pool of workers and not al of them will be able to find jobs.....thats just the facts..

second of all, you are making a huge and wrong assumption that everyone is dropping out of the labor force because they can't find work.....WRONG...that may be the case for some but many people drop out of the work force due to pregnancy, wanting to stay home with their children (I did this for 10 months after I was laid off..loved being home with the kids and wasn't looking for work)...going back to school....wanting to just take a break.....starting their own businesses.....some were laid off due to their jobs becoming obsolete or mechanized...also corporate America doesn't need as many workers any more...they learned during the Great Recesion that they can simply consolidate three jobs into one now.....small business owners no longer need accountants, bookkeepers, or lawyers..they can do all of that on a computer software program now....some people go back to their countries of origin...some people just want to work part time....ther are many reasons why people are not participating in the work force...its not just because they can't find wiork...thats your negative spin

United States self sufficient in oil and gas (who thought that would ever happen)
Al Qaeda on the run and neutralized as a threat
Medical costs declining (maybe first time in in recent history)
All jobs lost during the Great Recession regained


THE BAD:
National Debt has increased tremendously
Race relations are probably worse
Student loan crisis
Political Gridlock in Washington

The U.S economy IS GROWING...but the problem is you are not going to get the big roust growth that we had before....our economy is already so big that huge growth like we used to have in the past is no longer possible.....we will continue to grow but at a mush slower pace as the years go by...which is why China has caught up to us..they will experience the same as well.....again..the labor particvipation rate has been trending down for 40 years...why blame Obama for that?...because it makes you feel good?

As for regulations, Obama was right to put regulations back in place....leaving industries to police themselves is what led us into the Great Recession.....predatory lending, junk bonds, etc.....and I'm quite sure if Obama did things to enrich his friends we would have heard about that by now....
