Lots of Personal Data (Understatement)
In a letter to its employees, Sony conceded that a glut of personal information — including names, addresses, social security numbers, driver's licenses, passport numbers, bank information, credit-card data, usernames, passwords, compensation numbers, and health info — was compromised. The studio added that it's currently giving employees (and their dependents) 12 months of identity-protection services gratis. The letter, which was made available recently, can be read in full here.
