Schmoes would approve your decision. Nothing like a beautiful man in a thong all oiled up.
Since hanging up the trunks, I kept working out , attended pro shows as a schmoe.
im having a hard time going to the gym at all
I'm sitting at my computer about ready to head to my home gym for leg day. If I had to drive somewhere I doubt I'd want to go either.
yes the hardest thing about lifting weights is getting to the gym in the first place
On that note, I'm headed to my gym.
Another whiny rant from the guy who lives in the past and threatens to make a comeback every few months.Howard, bask in the fact that you had a great build, and now it`s kaput.
Gramps is grumpy today
Just keeping it real my friend.Howard looked great, but sadly enough,it`s gone.........all the threatening comeback threads in the world won`t help unless you put the "plan" in motion and continue to keep it going forward.
I quit competing 19 yrs ago, after doing so for many years.Since hanging up the trunks, I kept working out , attended pro shows as a fan and judged many NPC contests.Over the past 19 yrs, I toyed with the idea of doing another contest. It never lasts long and I laugh at myself for thinking about it.The main road block I run into is :1. Strict diet 2. Feeling like my life is on hold until after the contest.I hate to sound like a loser, but, I enjoy going out to eat, MORE, then seeing myself, in ripped condition , posing on stage.I can't get pumped and psyched to live like a deprived Spartan for several months, any longer. Plus, the cost to compete can buy a lot of good meals and cool experiences ( movies, pro sports tickets, day trips, etc)Granted, getting on stage in top condition is a pretty cool experience. But for me now, it's not enough of a reward for all those weeks of contest prep. Any others feel that going the extra mile to compete isn't worth it?
THATS where I was going with it ,I was a little more how we say'easy on him....
I`m in a rare shitty mood Paisan.Sorry Howard, but the proof is in the pudding.
mmmmmmm pudding
