It seemed to me, just from what I watched, the guys girlfriend was trying to rile people up claiming that the only thing the kid did was try to stand up and run and the cop shot him. 

So those initial people were reacting to that, I think.  NOT that I think the initial reaction was appropriate or justified in any way, shape, or form.  Just what I think happened.
