Im not a fan of led zeppelin or hendrix. They are very overrated in my opinion. People say hendrix was an icon, but what kind of person are you if you look up to someone who died choking on their own OD induced vomit... an above average guitarist of the time, but when you look at a guy like john sykes for example, or gary moore... They blow hendrix away not just in feeling but also in song writing chops- their best songs werent covers. Page is a sloppy guitarist, the whole band was too fucked up all the time to play well though they did write some epic songs.
Check out Sykes, his vibrato is just ridiculously good.
