I wanna see it but the John Goodman scene reminds me of the
SCORE which was an awesome movie..
I like Goodman, he doesn't do it often, but he does play a good every man type villain.
The original The Gambler with Caan is strong too, less flashy, more dramatic -

Which is one of the greatest under appreciated films of the last few decades. That opening really sets the hook.
