I guess I had the $10K figure in my head from the 90s.  I remember when Flex W. was winning this show and it was always $10K.

The purse at the Ironman has always been a joke.   It has pretty much stayed the same since its inception in the 80s.  So with inflation it has decreaed substantially.

To me hitting a homerun is a hell of a lot easier than building a pro bodybuilder physique.  How many homeruns are hit a year in the world. Too many for me to buy a ticket.
