I like the stand up aspect of MMA but the ground game puts me off. Two big, sweaty dudes lying on top of one another and rolling around on the floor. :-\
It's the closest thing you'll get to watching gay porn without actually doing so. Looks retarded too.

Most white people I know aren't even interested in boxing. It's mostly Mexicans and blacks

With white Americans maybe, but in Europe boxing is still big. Fights in Germany for instance are major events, pulling in millions of viewers and selling out large stadiums like the Imtech or Veltins Arena.

Boxing is awesome but it's missing a main attraction right now.

This.x2.

To many World titles/ Champs with all the different alphabet federations.
There are some very good fighters at all weights rarely do we get to so them fight each
Other as they don't have to, They can all be World Campions.
And far to many weight divisions adds to the confusion & lack of public interest.
It's little more than WWE at the moment.

I box & have a lot interest & like the history.
At this time it's a charade to extract $.
We should go back to 1 world champion in each division.

I'm liking boxing more than MMA these days - we've had some good UK fighters doing well recently - Khan's last win was good, Froch v Groves 1 and 2 were good talking points, and Anthony Joshua is on the rise and could be a serious contender soon. Worldwide we've still to see Mayweather v Pacquaio which I believe will happen fingers crossed.

Heavyweight boxing does suck a little though and we need another Tyson to fire up that weight category. Tyson Fury still isn't that convincing and the Klitchkos are starting to near the end of their careers with no realistically challenging opponents.

Too many Mexicans.  Not enough big name heavyweights. All it needs are a couple big named heavyweights and it would surpass Mma again.

joshua will be a huge star in the next few years for sure...

i think one of the best things to happen recently was the super 6 in the super mids, some amazing fights,no ducking, no complaints...

I have heard similar.
Apparently he has trouble with aggressive fighters.

He has looked very good in his fights so far.
Have you seen his training / sparring.

Or is this just bad mouthing by some who have been overlooked.

Dana White is ruining it and Bjorn Rabney is trying to keep it legit. KSW is a good organization but either way I give MMA 2-3 years.

I personally think MMA has almost ran it's course. Either I'm not seeing or not noticing but I don't see the fan turnout like it used to be. I'd rather watch boxing.

It's still growing and growing fast. Even with all the events they put on. It's like practically every week now. That will kill it. Too many shows with too many nobodies.

But watch the turn out tomorrow. Here in Hawaii everyone is on pins and needles counting the minutes.

I so want to see Jones utterly destroyed.

Boxing is awesome but it's missing a main attraction right now.

This is it. Boxing doesn't have anybody with the personality and charisma in the heavyweight ranks, which attracts the masses, like they use to.

I was never a big fan of boxing per se, wasn't educated enough in the science of the sport, but I watch Ali, Foreman, Frasier and Tyson every time they stepped into the ring.

But I didn't have to be an expert to know that this was one very special man
who captivated everyone around the world.

.
it's not just that.  social media (fanboys) and journalist are letting their favorite loverboys off the hook.  the big thing in box now is, his style is boring, so you don't want me to fight him from mr santa cruz or he don't have a twitter fan base or isn't popular enough, so why should i fight him?   #1 mandatory don't mean jack in boxing now.  ask keith thurman how khan got a #1 147 mandatory position without fighting anyone in the division.

mma or whatever is under one rule, so the best fights are made.
