I think it's personal preference. I have had girlfriends slap me and I just throw them to the ground or in to the wall. If I hit them I would seriously fuck then up. If I was 150lbs I suppose a slap or punch back would be acceptable

Fat, unattractive women are worthless so I think it's ok to do an open handed slap.  Even if they are being abusive or violent to you I don't advocate a full punch.  Really I prefer to backhand them as I feel that is more of an alpha way to establish dominance.
