Its 1997,heres what the average person thinks about Creatine
« on: January 02, 2015, 06:58:40 PM »
On a cold Friday afternoon, I had come home from school. I had been thinking of the gym all day. I was hungry, didn't have any lunch. In fact, I didn't eat because I spent the money. For the past month I was saving up for something. Something special which I bought at GNC. I was surprised they didn't ask for ID; I was pretty sure the cashier noticed how nervous I was. Anyways, my mom asked my how my day was when I got home, but I ignored her. I have more important things to do. I run to the bathroom and unpack my bag. In my school bag is a white plastic bag from GNC. I open the bag, first removing the receipt and flushing it down the toilet to get rid of the evidence. My heart was racing now. I unpack the creatine monster from the bag.

I wonder what people will be asking me when they see that I will be 50lbs heavier. Should I say I was just eating a lot? I remove the label from the tub and tear it into a thousand small pieces. I flush that down the toilet, too. It is time now. I run up to my room when my mom ask me what I am holding. I panic, sweat drips down my forehead and my teeth chatter. "Mom, it's just for a school project". "What project?" "I don't know mom I just started it!". A tear runs down my cheek. I run upstairs and open the creatine, scooping upservings into a clear water bottle. What have I gotten myself into? I fill it with water and drink it. There is no turning back now. The creatine monster is inside me now, it will control me. What should I do if I die? I cant let my family know about this.

I open the creatine tub and throw it all out the window; a white cloud of mysterious dust sparkles into the wind so graciously. I feel the substance taking control of me; I am now the monster. I walk downstairs, its time to work out; time to get big. Now I worry, I don't want to get too big; people will think I use steroids. I do use steroids. No I don't. Creatine. All I see is the weights now, I am almost downstairs when I hear "Do you want a cookie I just baked". I know I do not have time for this **** now. "No mom I do not want a cookie" I walk in the basement and drop to my knees before the weights, tears running down my cheeks. I turn to the right and look at myself in the mirror. Oh god, what have I done?

I remember being in my late teens and thinking like this gentleman, reading in the Daily Mail that creatine was as strong as the most effective steroids!

It came out around when I first started lifting, I remember thinking it can't be as a good as Dianabol, or Anadrol(Which at the time was considered the king of beasts as far as the magazines were concerned), but perhaps it was as good as Anavar.... I still scrunch my face up at that little bit of thinking :).

Ha, yeah it was 20 grams for a week, then 5 for each week after. But if you were well off, you could load higher, and run more than 5 grams to keep the effects going. But don't worry if you couldn't afford it, you could make gains on the lower levels too. They really covered all bases selling it.

I also remember drinking tons of grape juice with it, till they came out with Phosphagen hp which was the dextrose and creatine mix.

Gosh, the money that must've generated for everyone in the business.

I'm hard.

With the irony that only CalvinH can appreciate "DNRTL" (Did Not Read Too Long).

But you being hard is making me hard. (Ambiguous sexuality, confusion, sinful thoughts)

1st time round I actualy did feel somthing from it, it never did much after the 1st 'cycle'... Then you have to start 'stacking' with glutamine and add hmb for Decca like effects... If you were crazy you could go to the next level in years to cone and get 600% better results by slamming cell-tech

Did any of you studs try the 1st prohormones, the 1st mini step to the darkside was with androstenodine and 19norstenodione, if I didn't belch powder you did get a small boost from them too

I took a product that worked well for a friend called androstack 850. Gave me terrible anxiety and seemed to up my bp. Would sit in class thinking my heart was about to explode.  Did not take it for long.

Same here. Actually felt something very noticeable the first time around but it seem to wear off quick. Still take 5 grams pwo just for the memories.

Never got the same feel from it like the first time, but I do still get a slight endurance bump up from it still. That being said, I've noticed that I get a bit more prone to strains on it now that I'm a bit older. I make sure to watch hydration, etc.... now like a hawk.

I ate quite a bit of 19nor back in the day. The thing is that my diet was so horrendous, it didn't make much of a diff. Plus, I was poor and needed to stretch my bottles, so I would take 1/2 the dose  ::)

Did get two of the "good" cans of HotStuff. Man, that shit really got my workout motor running...

Had the same experience, bench went up like 15 lbs in two weeks.  Running to take a piss every two hours.  Next time I tried it nothing.  Figure that first batch (EAS posphogen) must have had some dianabol powder in it or the like, just to get guys hooked.

The funniest part was suddenly guys everywhere were blowing up 20 pounds in 12 weeks and giving the credit to creatine

Bill Phillips made $10,000,000 selling Phosphagain.  Minimum.

Then there was Phosphagain II. I gained close to 30 lbs of body weight and my bench went from 280 - 360 in 6 months
