Seattle played as bad as they could on offense for 3Q...then they looked unstoppable.

That's what makes them scary, played their worse and still won. U can bet they won't do that again in the SB

Would love for patriots to win thier 4th

What are you talkig about? When have I ever said I wasn't.

even if you admire their winning ways, you have to admit they're terrible role models.

grabbing dick on field at opponents?
hassling 911 hero generals until they leave?
cheating using adderall and blaming teammates for it?

Look, they're a great team, but as people, they're shit, absolute trash.

Quoting myself at the beginning of the season

Late to thread, but Pats for AFC and SEA for NFC.

Pats win SB.

In that thread, I also went for Revis as SB MVP.

So if New England wins the SuperBowl, does Brady retire?  I would if I was him.

Impressive.

This will be the Pete Carroll redemption bowl, where he vanquishs the ghosts of his Patriot past. They circle of life narrative of sports is pretty amazing.

Seattle is tough, but I just watched the Pats run up the score to 45-7. If this Pats team shows to the SB, Seattle is gonna have their hands full.

No. No reason he can't come back and get a 5th ring.  This is a good team. They finally have a decent running game and defense.

True this Colts team is completely over matched. I honestly thought last year's Denver squad was an all time great and the Hawks derailed them; I still don't understand how they beat Green Bay  today.....  they just really believed they couldn't lose.

I hope the Super Bowl is competitive, and the Pats are always prepared, but I think Seattle is going back to back.

Agreed. I think Brady plans to play until the wheels fall off. What a career this far!

Would love for patriots to win thier 4th 1st without the aid of knowing the other team's first 25 plays

Agree.

seattle hasnt been blown out in a LONG time... thought their time had finally come.  today might have been even crazier than their comeback against the texans (lol) last year.

He won Superbowls early in his career and spent the next decade climbing the mountain again trying to win another one.  Now that he did (if he does) why not go out on top?  Eventually your production will fall off and everyone will be looking at you as a detriment to your team.  People will resent you for your huge salary that you are no longer "worth".  Some young guy will get drafted and be nipping at your heels.  If you don't play well people will be calling for him to play.  Fuck that.  I'd rather leave a Champion with good feelings all around.  There's nothing else to accomplish.

Yes but unlike most players, Brady is going for an all-time-great type of career. He's number 1 in numerous statistical categories.  If he wins a 4th ring  he'll be tied with Montana although Montana never lost a Superbowl.  Thing is Brady went to two more Superbowls so Brady is definitely in the running.

Brady is one of the most competitive guys there is, win or lose he's coming back!
