We are defending our team, which you would do with the Giants in the same situation. The setup here is that even if the Pats win, it'll always have an asterisk next to it.

Makes me wish that the league would do something really stupid and disqualify the Pats from the SB. Give it to the Colts, who are so mentally crushed from that ass-kicking that they would immediately fold in the SB and the Seahawks would win 60-0. Then the Seahawks would have an asterisk next to their win as EVERYBODY would know that it wasn't because the 'Hawks were good, but because the league lost its fucking mind and disqualified a team for a slight (yes, SLIGHT) equipment failure.

Please Brer Fox, PLEASE throw us in that briar patch.

It's their own fault.  It started in 2004 with the sox - the fanbase finally had a team to call champs and instead of being grateful, they turned into arrogant pricks, thinking they were going to dominate from here on it.  They would "take over" stadiums, brag about doing it clean (oops), make threats blogs, etc would have to deal with "the nation" (oh brother), etc...

That's why this is funny to me - they've all become so predictable with this stuff.

No, I am a sports fan who could walk to Gillette stadium in under an hour, so I am very familiar with the team.  If you need to believe what you think, that's fine though, it's not like have the brain power to really add anything of substance here....Go back to whork getting owned in the political forum.

They have been all over this from the beginning and were even saying this morning that there is HUGE diff in feel between 10.5 and 12.5 psi. They were not happy when Belichick seemed to be throwing Brady under the bus in his presser this morning. It might be the result of some collusion between Belichick and Brady, or it might be that Bill is really pissed about this and is taking it out on the real culprit.

My guess is that Brady and Belichick gamed this out and Brady is going to cop to liking soft balls (*snort*) and saying that he probably had been pushing the limits and will take whatever punishment that the league decides is appropriate. It would be a smart thing to do and there's no way that the league would suspend him for the SB.
