Yup, I believe that.  They'll take the equipment guy, who might be having his dream job, and take care of him, and he'll never talk.

I don't think it proves it's only psychological.  It was one half - Brady could have a good half throwing a brick. Of the course of a season, it could have a pretty decent impact.  In no way to I think the Colts would have won, but it's not the point.

But, there's still no way Brady couldn't tell, and the video Rob posted supports that.  Brady's answers will calculated non answers.  He probably does this all the time, and just finally got nabbed.

Fine the pats, take away the draft picks, and get back to football.  The real damage is already done.
I agree. Come to a conclusion in the investigation, dole out the punishment, and move on.

at that point, he had a nice 3-score lead.  The Pats knew the Colts had to throw.  Pats converted to a running game to protect the lead.  When you're playing with a lead in the playoffs, and you're in new england, life is very good.

and it doesnt' matter if it helped them 1% or 90%, they're cheaters that were mocking the idea on Monday and now pointing fingers on Thursday.

17 -7, three score lead  :D     if you knew anything thing you would know the colts are a thowing team that's what they been doing all season, they don't have a running game to speak of

GREAT video on how easy it is to tell regular balls from deflated, and the many advantages of a flattened ball.

NO WAY Brady didn't know.  Just not believable

that video is the dumbest thing I have ever seen,of coarse if you have three balls side by side your going to tell which one has the least amount of air  :D :D :D :D,what's just not believeable is that you even watch football

I don't beleive that Tom didn't know.  I play football all the time and know immediately when the ball needs some air.  I'm pretty sure Brady who is a professional QB would tell in a second.

The obvious is this.  It was rainy and he needed a better grip.  A hard ball when wet is slippery, no homo, but soft it can be easier to grip, especially with a glove.  I wouldn't be shocked that since Manning switched to gloves that he uses an underinflated ball as well.  Try to get a full football and throw with and without gloves.  World of difference.
But did that alter Indy's game?  Nope.  They still only scored 7 points.

Yes, I am SURE that once the NFL says "Nothing to see here" it will just put the issue to bed. Nope, absolutely NOBODY will speak of this EVER again.

LOL...your G-men had no idea what kind of ass kicking they were walking into that day.

Let me correct you. You lost to a top 5 all-time defensive team that held a Giants offense to ZERO points. Not to mention that Dilfer played a hell of game himself. Dilfer wasn't that bad over the course of his career. Not the most physically gifted but SMART. He learned to play within the game as his career progressed. He was the perfect guy to lead that 2000 Raven team. Cut down on the mistakes and became a good game manager. You don't last 14 years in the NFL if you suck.

Blows me away to this day that the Ravens let him go and chose Elvis fucking Grbac instead. They brought the entire defense back and mortgaged the next few years for a chance to repeat. If they would have kept Dilfer, they might have carried over their momentum into a repeat. Oh well. :-\

dilfer was underrated, but grbac was coming off a pro bowl season

the 2001 defense wasn't as good as 2000

the worst qb to win a super bowl was giants qb jeff hostetler

How can you call Hostetler the worst quarterback? It was actually pretty remarkable what he did. He was thrust into the starting roll for a good part of the 1990 season. A shit backup of today would have failed miserably.

Besides, Jeff guided the Raiders to the AFC championship game vs the Bills as the Raiders starting quarterback.  ;)

he was a backup, typically super bowl quarterbacks are franchise players

the real answer would've been tom brady if belichek went back to bledoes like many said he should've at the time :)

Nope. That 2001 championship season was great. The Patriots had to go to Pittsburgh (you should remember) for the AFC title game. During the game, Brady rolled his ankle, and had to be replaced by Bledsoe for awhile. Bledsoe played great, and threw a touchdown pass, which really fired up the team.

I was glad that Bledsoe was able to help keep the team steady in that game.

I liked Bledsoe, but he was a turnover machine for the majority of his career.

i know but if you remember the controversy going into that super bowl was should the pats play brady or bledoe

during the offseason they had to make a decision between the two of them, they traded bledsoe to the bills where he made the pro bowl, brady led the pats to 9 -7 record and they missed the playoffs, a lot of people thought the pats should've stuck with bledsoe

Hindsight is 20/20 my friend. I'm sure I was all in on Bledsoe getting his job back too.

I'm glad Bill thought differently.

The NFL/Media are trying so hard to turn the Seahawks into a current day version of the old Oakland Raiders.

The Seahawks aren't.

I hope the Patriots win by 40.

Don't they only wear gloves only on their non throwing hand anyways?? That's if the qb chooses to wears gloves or not

Mark Brunell...Pro Bowl, Super Bowl quarterback. Stellar reputation as a class guy...was handed two balls on camera on ESPN.  1 deflated 15% and one regulation....he said  "WOW !......I could easily throw this ball ten yards further and with much better control, especially in inclement weather.  This would be a huge advantage."

Stop with the bullshit. Who knows what the score would have been if Luck had doctored footballs too.

Its a joke... Fines, draft picks..... The damage is done and they are in the Super Bowl    they don't give a fuck. Goodell should DQ them.  Its CHEATING straight up..no grey area.

And it all makes perfect sense now, because when you're watching the game the Colts look like they're playing and shitty  weather and can't get things rolling, and the Pats are just business as usual.... making one handed catches and shit.

How anybody could gloat over that victory is amazing to me....Brady is a sneaky fucking pussy,  fkng cheating.  He deserves a kick in the balls.
