Don't make it act like they aren't a successful team. It goes far beyond "successful regular seasons".

Pats went 12-4 this year. 2 losses were to The Dolphins and the Bills.

Now we know that this "other room" was the bathroom and he was there for 90 seconds to take a piss.

Granted, he's has plenty of practice   Probably a weekly thing - balls approved, casually walk to field, stop to pee, maybe pin 2 balls at a time, count to 4, and move to the next 2 bags.  Maybe he missed one of the balls, rushing.  But yeah, seems to make perfect sense.  He didn't need the measuring device - he knew how many seconds it takes.
