In the 2006 offseason, Brady leads the charge to get NFL to change rule so teams can manage their own game balls.
Starting in 2007, Pats have been a statistical anomaly, every single year completely off the charts, for FEWEST FUMBLES.
We're talking staggering number.  Any player that comes here improves, the falls off when they leave.  No change in any training or policy, just magically the balls didn't fumble anymore.   Complete mirror opposite of Pats from 2001 to 2006.

So it's looking like "deflategate" will date back to the start of the 2007 season.  For 8 years now, Pats have had an amazing advantage in fumbles, among other things.

If Spygate gave them the advantage for the 1st half of Brady's career, we now have some real mounting evidence that *something* was giving them an advantage for the second half.

Here's a crazy idea.....how about the FACT that objects inflated with AIR deflate when the weather gets COLD. Like your car's tires, for instance. Footballs are no exception. They will lose 1-3 pounds of air when the temperature drops to a certain level and stays there for an extended period of time.

actually they didn't say the colts ball didn't lose air they said they were still legal.if the colts ball were at 13 1/2 and they lost a pound they would still be legal

so basically... they've been deflating balls for 7-8 years now.  and they were allowed to get away with it, even tho the NFL exec hated belicheick and wanted to go at them.  THEN the ravens and colts both complained and voila, the exec had the ground he needed to expose the pats.  He let them cheat in the AFC championship game and then let them get caught at halftime.
