I keep it around to make cash offers on stuff, but was trying to amass enough to buy a large tract of property to be able to go off the grid every once in a while. I have silver myself and about 1k but enough water and dry food to survive for a bit. I'm not a weirdo or anything but it is CRAZY how fragile people are.

In 1998 there was a huge ice storm near where I live. People freaked out when electrity gave out and some people even died. I was 18 at the time but I learned that you better be prepared so I have piles of wood and invested in a good stove to cook and keep my family warm.
