R.I.P Macho man---one of the greats. I think it's pathetic that Vince appointed Hulk Hogan to induct Macho in the HOF. Those guys were NOT friends. They had a working relationship, that is all. Macho was the ultimate professional. His brother Lanny, and only Lanny, should be inducting Randy.

I've read that the reason Randy stayed covered up (wore the shirt in the ring) during his late 80s/early 90s run was because he had come off the gas (and felt he looked small) because he and Liz were trying to conceive.

I always wondered that. I had just assumed that he went for a new look or the cape thing was dated. He was never a big dude in my eyes. A lot of his 80's stuff show him being pretty agile and in good shape.

He couldn't have been taking that much gas during his WWF days. He was never a big guy and he had skinny legs. Great athlete and quick as a cat in his prime.

He roided out BIGTIME during his last WCW run when he had Georgeous George in his corner. He was already in his late 40's by then so I'm sure that couldn't have helped his long term health. Guess he felt the need to do that to justify fucking a 23 year old hottie. Man, was she hot!

When I read that story that he taught himself to throw with his left hand after injuring his right arm during his baseball days....I thought that was amazing.

I just watched disc one of his new DVD, very interesting. Randy really cared abut the fans. Never wore the same outfit to the same arena, believed he owed it to the fans to see different costumes. Was also a true perfectionist.
