"All insulin" bodybuilders make me sick
« on: January 12, 2015, 11:50:52 PM »
You know the guys who "train for the feel" aka like a pussy then inject slin into their pumped muscles.

The muscles don't even show striations anymore

Some pros are like this, all blown up from slin, barely any evidence of muscle fibers.

The judges need to reward striations/evidence of muscle fibers over this slin/blown up madness.

How the hell did we get to the point you have top SIX Mr Olympia competitors have NO chest striations...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to out these fucken jokes of bodybuilders with their big bellies and blown up nothing muscles training like pussies.

The real bodybuilders out there have/had definition and striations when in good condition.

Note;
  • When I refer to training like a pussy I mean no semblance of progressive overload in the 6-12 rep range in compound movements
  • Mainly a commentary on the look that abuse of insulin is giving bodybuilders. An absence of density, striations and definition.
  • The reliance on insulin for recreational bodybuilders, just pumping up and shooting slin, no real concentrated effort. Nothing noteworthy just blown up nothingness.

Haha.  I couldn't agree more with this post.
Training for the pump, mind muscle, etc, etc.
Nothing worse than seeing a 250lb guy doing 150lbs on overhead press for 10 "hard reps".  It's the modern day juicer.  An utter disgrace to bbing.
I understand not going extremely heavy to prevent injury, but I've seen more oversized pussies the past few years than I can count.
It's that age of the absolute least resistance to a goal, but in many of their heads...they're pushing like Arnold.
It's also a great example at how easy it actually is when on many drugs to gain size.
There are zero studies proving that higher reps is better when on a cycle.

So people should lift heavy for what benefit? I am genuinely curious? Should people suffer more with heavy weight, including torn parts, injuries, etc just to "sweat it out in the trenches"?

As if training 'heavy' would make any difference whilest slinned to the max and all you can eat hormona buffet, its bodybuilding not powerlifting

As has been said, why risk tearing somthing when it won't make any difference in your physique in any place

Bodybuilders are judjed on stage not how much they lift.
Times are changed yes and i do not endorse modern bodybuilding approach (juice first, everything else later).
Whe it comes down to training it's a matter of personal choice. Some guys feel better results with heavy weights, other prefer "pumping" it.

You get that lean and see how big you are. That's a lot of muscle.

I like to "mock" these lazy fools indirectly: I come to train off-gear or being on 300/wk for the last three months (I'm smaller, less pumped and less "impressive", understandably) and start loadig plates (for bench or squats). All these "tough" looking, pussy weights lifting "syringe from a day one" types get silent lol, as I outlift them twice or even by a triple of weight they are using, despite being smaller. That's because I've spent about 10years lifting natural and everything else did not progess after a few years, but I got stronger, very slowly, but very surely.

This is not true. have you ever tried Insulin? Insulin does shuttle nutrients everywhere very quickly including the fat cells but that dosn;t mean you will get fat usually you will iss the water out over night. I think if you just use it 2 or 3 times a week you can come in looking dry and striated everywhere.

Anpother reason Insulin is so popular is because it is the most anabolic hormone in our bodys and you can buy way over a months supply for 25$ name one product that you can buy for 25$ that is that strong? nothing! It comes down to how the guy uses the Insulin. I honestly don;t believe in everyday use but 2-3 days a week on your bigger body parts is fine you will look the same. Now if your doing it everyday then that is a diffrent story.

Lee Haney trained heavier than any other bodybuilder of his era.

Why doesn't some guru take some Hebrews and white fellas and put them on 90's cycles, diets and training and create a better contrast to these guys and set the standard?  It would work.  The judges would have no choice.

So, you're saying a line should be drawn somewhere?   I agree, and the only reasonable place to draw the line would be no drugs, period...No drugs of any kind...That's as close to being fair/equal as we can get..

A lot of bro science being stated here.. There are numerous studies that show rates of protein synthesis in 60 to 65 percent of 1rm is identical to that of 85 to 90 percent.. As long as the intensity ( going to failure) is the same.. So why would one subject their joints and connective tissue to that kind of trauma ( trust me it's gonna bite you in the ass eventually no matter how your joints feel now) .. ? Makes no sense if longevity in this game is your goal.. Get rid of the macho bullshit and start using techniques that allow for intensity to be high while handling lower loads..

Guys do get nasty shreeded, 2011 Heath, branch, Compton, Juan, dexter, even evan can get pretty grainy.

It's just the quality of the muscle they carry isn't the same. Roundness, fullness, density.

I do believe insulin as effect the over look we have today but I don't think it all insulin fault.

We are just at a genetic slump after the 90's everything before and after looks like shit in comparison. The star aligned for bodybuilding in the 90's

Totally agree... Also do people here really think that Coleman, Warren, Yates and other "hardcore" guys always train like they say or show in their videos? Lol, they pump the muscles like every other "pussy" most of the time, but they act like supermen in front of a camera, fooling people... Bodybuilding, not powerlifting, stimulate and pump blood in the muscles...

it's the abuse that causes this not the drug itself.
