It is not inordinately vain or narcissitic to have a trophy room--if you have the trophies and awards to warrant such a room. Jay does. If he had them sprinkled in every room of his house and they were in your face at every turn that would be in appropriate. The reality is most people have perhaps 5-10 trophies/awards and all of them could easily fit on one or two shelves. If you have 50-100+ awards and magazine covers it is appropriate to have a trophy room or to adorn your office with them. Pro athletes, actors, and others who have many awards typically display them all in a single room. Bah!

I think it is appropriate to display all the trophies and medals but magazine pictures is taking it a little far especially when it takes up an entire room.
