All my life I've eaten beef, chicken, pork and lamb.  As I age I feel more and more guilty for eating it.  I know this sounds stupid, but it's true.

There's no specific breed of 'eating dog' - not in poor rural areas.

I applaud your optimism, but it is a losing battle.  A wise man knows when he is licked.  Foolish people will always outnumber the wise and eventually cause the demise of the human race.  Such is life.

Yea, I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with your sarcasm there. Torturing domesticated animals is pretty fucked up. I feel bad for the animals I eat when I sit and think about it, but that's why I don't waste any when I dine on these fine creatures. Eating dogs and cats, unless you are starving, is pretty creepy. Skinning them alive to enhance the flavor, is fucking sick and they should be executed for their crimes.

Funny thing is I watch that Andrew Zimmer Bizarre Foods show but I've yet to see him eat dog.  he's eaten every kind of meat but despite all his trips through Asia he's never stopped at a dog stand and ate some.  not sure if he draws the line there or if they know people would get mad at the show for displaying it.
