Chancellor has decided to back down.  He loses a bunch of $ for missing 2 weeks... his team is 0-2, and he's stuck honoring year 2 of his 4 year contract that he just signed.

That's what is weird here.  He just signed this new contract at the start of last season.  Holding just one year into it? 

It's the seattle seahawk culture I guess.
