Papa John's in the news...

Bodybuilding related because many obese powerlifters eat Pizza while sitting in their own tears on a lonely Friday night.

Female delivery driver shoots armed robber in face; social media outcry forces Papa John’s to stand behind her

A would-be robber picked the wrong pizza delivery person to set-up.

Around 8PM on Jan 11. a female pizza delivery driver for Papa John’s was making a delivery to a home in DeKalb County when she was met by a man who acted like the delivery was for him.

The man pulled out a gun and forced the unnamed woman out of her car and onto the ground in an attempt to rob her, reported CBS 46.

But the surprise was on him as the driver had a gun of her own in her pocket.

The driver reached for her gun and shot the assailant Donquaz Stevenson, 24, in the face.

Although Papa Johns prohibits the carrying of weapons by their drivers the company said no disciplinary action would be forthcoming after a social media outcry of customers defending her.

I've eaten Papa John's. I'd place it in the trash, not take a bullet.

Robbing a pizza delivery girl.

The scumbags who do this type of crime are some real criminal masterminds. That extra $30, tops,  is really quite the haul.
These idiots probably spent two days setting this caper up,  not realizing that if they only spent that time working at subway they'd make triple that with a $7+ minimum wage.

But $30 hard cash, a beat up late model Buick and years served in prison (and injuries if something doesnt go as planned ) for armed robbery sounds like a lot less work.

like, even though she broke company policy that she did agree to - she probably won't be fired for it.

In the past, pizza places have fired people that carry guns or use them.  Even thoughcarrying a gun is obviously the RIGHT thing to do, drivers have to sign & agree to the anti-gun, communist liberal RINO policy before they can accept work for these pizza companies.  So they're technically breaking company policy.

Huge public outcry means she might not be fired.  Or she'll set up a GOFUNDME and make $130,000 in a week and take a few months off lol.

That's a tough decision, die in an armed robbery or break company policy?

Let me think about that for a while.

Remember it's a part time career; no insurance, you'll have to use your own vehicle,  provided it's street legal, and gas money, none of it is reimbursed. Plus we've got you down for nights and weekends.  It's a strict policy but you can see way it's worth it.

I know blacks are poor, but it seems they are robbing, shooting, raping and killing their own most of the time.  So, I could understand their plight if they acted that way to the dominant society.  But they don't.  They do it to each other.  WTH is going on?  Makes me not trust them.

Suprised Papa Johns would make a stink about the employee. The owner of the company is not  known as a liberal . If one has a cwp, I don't think the employer can tell someone they can't have a firearm in their automobile. Maybe in the workplace though.

The other option is for her to not accept a dangerous job with an anti-gun policy company in the first place.

Lots of jobs have "no concealed firearms" in their rulebook.  I had that in my publix, winn-dixie and other grocery store stops in college.  I still rocked the G26 or keltec in the thunderware, but I was a lot less likely to let anyone else know.  I knew I'd be fired, even if I used it to save my own skin, but it just made more sense to carry it.

People have the right to REFUSE to accept jobs at anti-gun employers.  Enough of them do this, and the company has to change policy in order to get workers.  They only have that rule for 1) insurance reasons and 2) because people will put up with it.

Rumor has it, his homies are out for vengence.

.

Seriously good for her. Delivery folks usually wind up on the bad side of these deals, nice to see one win.
