Lynch only makes millions because the media covers the games.  If every athlete was a closed-off a-hole, there wouldn't be TV deals and he'd be making $150 a week for a game that nobody attends.  The personalities are what sells the game, and it's nice that he chooses the role as silent bad guy type, every cast of characters needs that.

I honestly don't care, the media is just as pretentious as the athletes.  Many of the guys are jock riders and what not that live a double standard,  I respect your opinion.  The interviews are a part of his job, and I'm fine with how he responds, it's his life and career.

My point was if he "played" the media game it'd look better, plus when he works with kids teaching them to respect others he could use his dislike of media as an example.

You must be new to sports.  They are forced to do charitable things and spend time with kids to promote a healthy image for the nfl. Its contractual! So theres no contradictory behavior at all. They are also forced to give post game media interviews to promote the league as well. He chose not tot do so, and broke his contract. Thats all NFL players have, and he got fined 100k. The things they do off the field have nothing to do with them wanting to give back -- its contractual. He is a good player, and this is about sports, not politics.

I'm sure the charities and foundation he has set up in his name are for tax purposes,  just as im sure some of the work he does with kids may also be part of his contact.  That said it's obvious he doesn't partake in activities that he's contractually obligated to due, hence his post game interview answers.  If he didn't want to work with kids he wouldn't as the $100k would attest to.
