The getbig response to this one should be good.  Let's see.... "Obama should have gone, even though Bush didn't go to Madrid after bombings, but DiBlasio shouldn't go, he has too much work to do here, and I hope police disrupt a funeral over there by turning backs to him."

NEW YORK (WABC) --
Mayor Bill de Blasio made a trip to Paris Tuesdsy in a show of support following the terror attacks earlier this month.

For a few hours on Monday Mayor Bill de Blasio put the problems and concerns of New York on the back burner and visited a friend, an old friend in need.

The mayor's day began at that kosher market where four hostages were murdered. It's a reminder that a new form of anti-Semitism is sweeping across Europe.

"The attack on the supermarket was an affront to the Jewish community all over the world and it's important to recognize this," Mayor de Blasio said.

im assuming he was there to show solidarity with his his muslim friends and talk about the 'culture of fear and racism and islamophobia'??
