I suspect that many of the gun owners here are strapped while having sex. I mean, you never know when you're life is going to be in danger. This is the same reason why they bring their guns to toys r us. You know how those 5 year olds get when they want a toy. Someone needs to put them in line when they have a tantrum.

I knew a cop who would carry his gun around everywhere with him. Even when he was off duty. I was at a birthday party for a 4 year old and he came to the party strapped.  :-\ :-\ I thought he needed to keep the party in line just in case it get too out of control. You know how those children get at 4 year old parties with the balloons and party streamers. Totally out of control.

Many police departments require cops to carry off duty. A cop still has legal powers of arrest off duty. They are obligated to act. They also run into people that they have arrested or have had dealing with.

Even retired cops can legally carry in all states.

No, I never have.  My cock makes my gun look small so I don't like to have them out at the same time.

i have a few cops that live on my street/next street over.  In the past, I came home at same time (3am or so) as this one cop.  Frequently.  I saw him and I making the same travel almost every weekend.

He would see drunk drivers - I mean obvious drunk drivers all over the road - and he'd drive right past them.  He was off-duty obviously, driving home after a long days' work, i'm sure.  But there was one time, a drunk almost hit us both - and he just let the drunk A-hole drive away, and he kept on driving home.

I have always wondered what their obligation was, what their power was.  He probably had to get up early and the LAST thing he wanted to do was deal with a drunk idiot alone and lose 3 hours booking this obviously drunk a-hole.  But what if that drunk travels another block and hits and kills someone?
