Any London Getbiggers here?
« on: February 01, 2015, 05:09:15 PM »
hey all
I might be visiting the UK later in the year, staying in the Paddington area.

any London GB'ers know any good gyms around there and good eating places that are super expensive?

I heard London is shite for food and is very pricey?

any advices would be great thanks!

You have got quite a few commercial gyms in Paddington like LA Fitness, Virgin Active etc....Seymour Leisure Center.

Paddington is very near Edgware Road, quite a few shish cafe's, Maroush Kebab shops, Victoria Casino etc.
Pop down to Queensway/Bayswater and have a look around there too.

And you can get tube and be in Piccadilly/Leicester Square/Soho within 15 mins which is the hub of the West End (main place people party & tourists), where you have tons of clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from  including China Town.

Covent Garden is always very nice to hang out in.

London is pretty fucking pricey wherever you go I am afraid for food/gym compared to America.
Green Cottage restaurant for Chinese in Swiss Cottage (about 20-30 mins) from Paddington is probably the best Chinese in the country and reasonably priced.

Mayfair, Kensignton, Chelsea, Kings Road etc are exclusive areas and extremely expensive so best stay away from there if on a budget.

Either way you can't really go wrong in London, tons to do here, huge cosmopolitan city with 12 million people in it.

thanks joon!!
