Walmart Protein
« on: February 03, 2015, 02:48:13 PM »
....So I made my order from Dps nutrition too late so while I
was at Walmart I decided to buy whey protein till my order comes...anyway I buy ARNOLD iron whey cause I figure it won't taste like shit like the rest of them...so I get home and open it up
and the freaking tub is less than half full!! So I look at the size and it's only 1 1/2 lbs. Why isn't it 2?...Is it to keep it "price effective"????

wish there was a study where you can get twins, feed one 200grams of whey and another 200 grams of chicken breast protein, put them through the same workouts and see who gains more muscle mass in a year.  I would venture a guess that the one who ate chicken breast would yield the better results.

Ground beef is superior to chicken. When I changed my diet and got rid of the whey I made the best gains.

Speaking of walmart, today several products were taken down the shelves at Walmart NY, because being a scam ...... Don't know if there was bodybuilding supps in the list but some herbal energy stuff were.....

Imagine if Arnold's protein was on that list for not being protein at all and not carrying the amount claimed on label.  In other words a fraudulent powder

That would ruin his legacy.  Even as a politician.

The vanilla flavor tastes good though

The fattier, the better. That's the reason you get results with ground beef. Unless you mix whey protein isolate with heavy cream, or at least half and half, then you won't get results. You need fat to build muscle tissue.

I bet your right, but at the same time when your eating like 200 grams of protein a day it's easier for me anyway to do both

I like it around 80 to 85%, a little more than a pound a day with tuna in there too works well.

ground beef with whole eggs tastes good. But I need lots of ketchup! Love that for a last meal of the day.

But I sure as hell don't feel like eating solid food post workout, to say a good powder is of no use is totally rediculous.

Protein mix just like most other sups are there are garbage, better to invest in some good organic foods and make real protein shakes.
