Walking Dead is great but it's a bit like Game of Thrones where they kill off the characters way too easily sometimes. I was surprised when they killed off Shane so early, I thought they would keep him in for the majority of the time. I'm assuming they had to write him out the storyline because he may have had other job offers ongoing.

They should have kept Shane alive and have him leave the group and then had him be the guy in charge of all the cops that were in that hospital. Also one would think that there would be planes in the sky with people who know how to fly who are flying around checking shit out.

Now that the increasingly obviously rigged....NFL season is  over..Ive been watching The Walking Dead marathon on AMC.

Holy fuck was I talking out of my ass, the show didn't lose a thing..

It got better, richer...darker...more morose and touching. And LOOKS a hundred times better.

All caught up....looking forward to tonight.  Yes..im a dick,  and jumping back on the bandwagon three years later

Meh, I can't hold that against ya, mate. 

However, I actually want the show to be much, much darker -- sort of shades of "28 Days Later" plus a bit of "The Book of Eli," throwing in a healthy pinch of Nazi Holocaust-esque vibe -- but I realize that ain't gonna happen.  As is, they're pushing the rating limits pretty hard; the realism of the gore alone gets some panty-waisted types all up in arms 

On another note, Palpatine Q?  As in, Darth Sidious asking a question, or a combo of Sidious and one of the Q from Next Gen?

Macon GA has average temps above freezing all year.   But either way, I was just speculating, as the winter aspect would definitely be a game changer.

There's a million ways they could eventually combat the issue.  Heck, find an operating back hoe and a ditch around the prison makes it almost impossible for the zombies to bother them inside.

He was awesome as Shane. Him and Merle (Daryl's brother) were the only good actors in the serie. Maggie, the asian guy, etc suck. Rick is a good actor thou.

they could have ousted shane.... rick and shane fight, and shane wanders out into the herd... we all assume he's dead, but we don't get that closure. 

would love to see shane leading the charge against rick and friends hiding out in alexandria.
