Havent had it for years...well hade it yesterday so I almost puked, but only last for some minutes then away!

Rule Nr1...keep away medicins, body fix almost anything. Or else u will be a drunken slave of medications! Going the hard way is the best way :D

lol at body fix anything.  Like how the average life expentancy is now 3 times more than it was a couple hundred years ago thanks to medical advancements.

Stop eating wheat and anything that contains wheat and this along with most of your other ailments will be cured...according to cardiologist William Davis, MD.  Could be true.

Wheat Belly is a brilliant book, cutting out wheat has cured my asthma after 40 years as well has stopping the hay fever i would get in summer.Wheat today is not the same wheat as it used to be.

I used to have wicked reflux, the wake-up-in-the-middle of the night choking kind of reflux.

Cut back on wheat and corn-based processed foods, no more reflux. It's 100% diet, aggravated by stress.

this is absolutely the worst thing ever. jolted out of deep sleep, gasping for air and the feeling like your oesophagus and nose are on fire after bringing up lovely stomach juices

Nobody mentions the obvious?  Stop doing orals, just stick to injections.  Bodybuilding related.

Yep Im aware that UES needs to be tight as I mentioned that in my post. Im aware peppermint is a relaxant as well, but I think its still worthwhile if you are doing all the other things in my post. Most people who have gerd are or reflex are usutall experiencing other digestive issues and peppermint helps to address these.

As I mentioned in my post all liquids, including peppermint tea, should be drunk away from meal time so as not to stimulate the situation where you might have food present, weak acid and the UES relaxed.
Drink the tea away from meals so it can help reduce irritation in the digestive system.

I agree, I am partially fucking around, it works for gas like nothing else.

Avoid chocolate, tomato products, highly acidic foods, orange juice, excessive spicy foods hours before bed.

Stay more propped up while you sleep.

Take a Ranitadine tablet or two after a meal with any of the foods mentioned above.

Double up your Omniprazole so it's more prescription strength.

Cutting down on stress is always helpful......my wife actually got a new job to help reduce stress that caused reflux.....worked wonders.
