Also love Alice in Chains but wouldn't list them as top 3.

I like AIC also, but the songs sound so much alike...

Also like the foo fighters! Never thought they would be around so long!

This band changed my life the Banana Splits. Their chord progressions were so unique they created their own scales progressions. The bass was so melodic and rhythm inspired that bass players rushed to imitate it. What could be said about the drummer? He was a mix of Buddy Rich with the edge of Keith Moon.
