I don't care if looks gay LOL.

I do care that it's NOT bodybuilding.

Bikini for woman and MPD for guys attract the most entrants because it's easier to do.
You workout to look sexy on the beach or by the pool, etc.
You don't have to do any mandatory poses or go to extreme with drugs.
 
The bikini babes want a firm butt, flat tummy and toned legs. No real upper body muscle is needed.

The MPD dudes want  6 pack abs, muscular arms , pecs and delts.
They don't need to work legs and their quads or hams don't even show wearing board shorts .

The bikini and MPD ideals are great for PERSONAL, physique and fitness goals.
BUT, it's not much of a real, genuine competition.

Sure, the  MPD guys and bikini babes have fans of their sexy bodies, especially the babes.
BUT, very few "fans" know or care how they do in the actual contests.
I've never seen a heated debate about who was better in the Olympia bikini or MPD pose down !
I have seen and heard endless debates about who was better between BODYBUILDERS.

Fans still debate with passion, the dual between Arnold and Sergio in the 1972 Olympia.
What bodybuilding fan will ever forget Ronnie winning his 8th Olympia at a mind blowing 286 ripped lbs.
 
To me, MPD and bikini vs pro bodybuilding is like comparing flag football rec leagues to the NFL.

No man should be hitting "board walk" poses and standing like a complete fruitcake

That's actually "too big" for physique competitions as far as I'm told. They don't like you being too ripped or too big, it's a balance. Pretty soon it'll be nothing more than men's bbing only "smaller" in that division

I stopped going to the NPC nationals to watch, 6 years ago.
By then there was 500 bikini and figure girls with 140-150 bodybuilders.
Plus, the bikini babes all wore these mini kimono robes and pulled little suitcases around when they weren't competing.

I thought I was  at some massage parlor /stripper convention instead of a bodybuilding contest.

I have no desire to go to one because they are sooo boring when streamed and there are so many classes.  I think it would be fun, however, to walk around an expo.

Mens Physique is just a fitness model contest on a stage basically. .is it bodybuilding. .I dont really know..but I will say it's a lot easier to look muscular while flexing (bodybuilding)..then to look muscular while relaxed (mpd).

The MPD guys essentially want a trophy for a physique that can be obtained with a two years of training. These dudes would look like swimmers in a strong open class bodybuilding show.  The marketing scheme is brilliant though because now a whole lot of guys with shit structure and tooth pick legs can train for a year enter an NPC show and possibly get a trophy. This is purely a money making scheme for the NPC. Oh and that Sadik guy is a full blown idiot. A friend of mine shared a recent Instagram post he made and let's just say that someone needs to slap the stupid out of him.
