Nope.

But I saw "Gone Girl" yesterday. Pretty sick movie. I recommend it.

Good movie

Wish movies with that kind of budget could be rated R... then it could have followed the book more closely

In both cases the book is better.  I suggest seeing the movies first though.  My one criticism of both books is that neither one has any pictures or training routines of Vince Gironda.

Good movie!

They renamed it a few times and the latest title is "Live, Die, Repeat" I believe. I read that it performed poorly at the box office because of the unfortunate title. I don't think the title was that bad. Saw Gone Girl and that was very good as well. However not sure I buy the ending as I think they could have pinned it on her without the public turning on Affleck.

Loved Gone Girl, the book. A little bummed by the ending, though. Loved the movie, too, which slightly improved upon the book's ending, I thought.

But the book is almost always better, no?

Thoughts?

The themes of eternal recurrence and volition vs fate's passenger seem to be recurring in Tom's flicks.  Maybe it's a scientology thing.  Vanilla Sky, Minority Report, Oblivion right before Edge of Tomorrow.

It was fun like most of Tom's stuff with the right mix of special effects and interdasting plot twists.  Totally non-confronting popcorn & Junior Mints entertainment.  Delivers exactly what you want and expect from a Tom Cruise action movie and provides you and your date the usual cute paradox to hash out while you're waiting for the waiter.

It was no Eyes Wide Shut but I liked it.

Arrrrg.....it did not become the Major Blockbuster they had hope for.....regardless, Cruise always give it 100%.....it made $369 million on a $178 million budget...that's a success, but I guess they were hoping more than that

But Oblivion on the other hand rocked the boat.

I thought so too.  I saw it twice when it came out.

Edge of Tomorrow was good, but IMO they could've come up with a better title for this movie.

Bingo.....I said the same thing too......there are way more better titles for a Sci-Fi movie than this......sometime I thing the title of a movie can have an impact...I could be wrong, but it has been discussed before......I remember that Disney movie "Mars needs Mom"......LOL......that shit Bombed at the Box Office

Great flick and Emily Blunt gave me a big boner.

I am fairly confident this was not due to Tom Cruise's presence.
