I thought the guy was a moron in the video. Then I watched her plea to the public and thought she was an even bigger moron if that's possible. Stuff people read on the internet is pretty dangerous. He really thought the cop had to show him 3 forms of ID and it cost him. She STILL thinks they do...

I have never heard of a situation where, in a traffic stop, the driver must be shown 3 forms of ID by the police officer.


They were driving on a highway with no headlights or tail-lights..... with their baby in the back seat.

there was a case in the uk where someone got away with assaulting a cop because he wasny wearing his police helmet

he was in high visibility uniform in a marked police car

but an idiot judge bought the lawyers bullshit

so we had to put our hats on before getting involved in a fight

Plus it is her claiming 3 miles. Who knows could have been more.
Why do you need a "well lite area" anyway? The place you were at before was fine enough for you to work on your car. I think the cops would be ok.

I wonder if he had drugs on him or something.... and he had to dispose of the evidence over that "3 miles" distance. Maybe tossing it out of the window or something? I'm guessing. I could be wrong.

I don't know what his motive was for not pulling over. It seems to me that his priority that night would've been getting his baby off of the dark highway safely, as soon as possible.

Have you ever turned off your headlights really quickly while driving on the highway at night? You can't see shit. There are no street lights on the highway. And Dave Herman had his baby in the car...... very foolish.

He is lucky that he didn't get charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
