Germany is now on it´s knees with a new and very hard Flu virus and it´s resistant against known Anti Biotics here. I have to wonder if this is from Putin or maybe set loose from Porton Down in the UK. A local Doctor told me he had patients crying and even going in Hospital with this virus. Is the 3rd world war coming? are they getting ready for a Chemical attack? Hardening our immune systems for what´s to come ? Not being Paranoid but in the British Army they did now and again ask for volunteers(idiots) to go to Porton Down for "experiments" and it was chemical war fare viruses, given that Putin is flexing his arm .... $:-\$

All influenzas are viruses and so are immune to all antibiotics. If a doctor is prescribing antibiotics for influenza, he should have his certification revoked.

its probably not worse than any other bout of influenza, however everyones getting sick because carnival is a big thing here...
most people have been outside at freezing weather in their little show-off whore costumes in huge crowds while consuming humongous amounts of alcohol for 5 days straight last week and therefore are now sick.

That is the point, they have to give antibiotics because people are falling out big style from their work places and longer than normal. Really. It was even on German TV today. Where did you get your information on Antibiotics? Most are given Elobact,500mg Cefuroxim .. 1 tab 2-3 times a Day

They said on German TV "RTL" that the worst is to come. ofcourse the fact that Antibiotics are not working shows what is landing in our food chain. Think about it.

Antibiotics are for bacterial infections. Anti-viral meds can work on influenza, but it is such a rapidly mutating family of viruses that most anti-vitals lose effectiveness quickly.

I am pretty sure that the Germans know what they are doing, but a nasty 'flu almost always has to burn its way through a population. If you get it, rest, STAY THE FUCK HOME, drink a shitload of water and you'll be OK. Young children and old folks might end up with pneumonia, which can kill them.

Antibiotics won't do fuck all. Anti-virals are close behind on the "fuck-all" scale.

Antibiotics target living bacterial cells

A virus is not a cell, nor is it living.... antibiotics won't work.

A virus simply lacks the targets that antibiotics attack.

If you're flu free, you can visit me here. I read in the newspaper today the the flu is waning in the U.S and in Oregon. The article also mentioned that 65% of those who got the flu this year, got a strain of it that the flu vaccination didn't cover. So much for getting a vaccination against the flu.

For reasons I don't fully understand, I have never had the flu. I've had more then my share of bronchial pneumonia, which in my case can be treated with antibiotics since it is bacterial. Like with the flu, people have been known to die from bronchial pneumonia. On the plus side, the hacking cough that comes with this ailment has kept my abs tight.

I was invited by some of my German friends and family to come over for Fasching 2015. Looks like a blast. Kind of stuck in Oregon for the moment though. If I know these people, it is just another reason to chug beer from the boot and get stupid acting in public....damn I am old!
