Its crazy to think how long ronnie was a top pro bodybuilder. I was fortunate enough to shake his hand at the mr san jose in 2003, and it was unreal. He wore what looked to be a bed spread for a shirt weighing all of 330 pounds. Hands were squishy. He was sweating sitting there signing autographs. Absolute monster. Pics and video are meaningless. In person, he just made you feel like competing against him was futile. He was lean at 330, had giant rope like veins running down his arms
His shirt had to be 5xl and he cut the sleeves which still looked to be restricting blood flow. The size of his biceps, no lie there were guys competing that day whose torsos were not as massive. Incredible. And then one day, it was all memories from yesterday. And then years ago. Now its decades ago. Where did the time go? And why do I long for those days now? Angway Ronnie will always be king.
