It’s funny when you see that flex magazine ad Mr. Mas mike Matarazzo secrets size you should’ve said I eat a jar of peanut butter every week red meat every day and a lot of Roids. He said those years how he did so much stuff eating and drugging to get that big that he regrets it when I need a new heart, and then untimely, he passed away at such a young age.
So true. I just saw a video where someone was asking Kevin if he thought he would have been better had he trained hard all year. Kevin’s said that he went so hard (he didn’t say but it was implied) for those 4 months and fortunately his body was a hyper responder - that he would get terrible nose bleeds and blood pressure issues etc. he said that he believes if he had stayed at it all year he would be dead.
I 100% believe there are guys that don’t use a ton - even pros. But I think most of the top level guys push it to the red line max. Probably some don’t even need to because they max out gains at lower amounts - but want so desperately to get an edge that they stop at nothing.
Both things are true.
I have personally known guys that respond so insanely quick that it’s bananas. I trained with a guy that I know 100% for a fact was only taking Dbol (and he never exceeded 25mgs / day). I know exactly where he got and the dude had no clue so he just did was he was told (was terrified of needles so out of question). The fckn guy transformed in 6 months. He passed up guys that had been at it for a decade. To look at him you would think he was an expert, and the cat was still asking us what muscles each movement was hitting.
It’s really sad that so many guys are gone. You either have it or you don’t. Doesn’t mean you can’t build an insane physique - but you know after ONE cycle whether you have any chance of being a top level guy.
