I have no clue why Phil Hill quit BB but I think if he stuck around he could have won the Olympia.......the guy was a true freak of nature.

That's true, and for most of the Haney/Dorian/Ronnie epoch, that probably would have relegated him to top six status.

But by the time Heath came around, being narrow was seemingly no longer (haha, no pun intended) a thing.  Hill's arms, legs, back and overall thickness would have kicked ass in the late 2000s.

Phil said that the drugs stopped working. So he quit.

As good as anyone from the front but was severely lacking when he turned around. No way he was beating Haney or Yates with that back.
