Mike Mattarazzo....looked his best in the NPC. Could never get back to that on the pro circuit.

Longish torso but good proportions outside of that. Had the look of a guy that was tired of the bbing thing but was in too deep to stop.

If you look at Matarazzo’s contest history, he didn’t win anything but he placed in the top 10 in a lot of shows for those years, but yes, his USA win his physique had a pop to it That he couldn’t replicate as a pro. So while he was bigger on stage at times, he looked flat in certain spots but yeah, he was a freak that night at the USA..he was unknown out of nowhere to win USA.

Matarazzo was monster at the 1992 Pro Ironman. But he was up against top Olympia contenders like Vince Taylor.

But he still placed ahead of Mike Ashley and Ron Love.
