I had the worst peak going. I was a stickler for full range of motion and perfect form. I think now that that was a mistake. you watch the pros train, and as wrong as it looks, they are only hitting the peak power groove of each muscle. if you can curl full range 100 lbs and always train full and strict, then you are not taxing the most powerful part of that muscle. there is a part of that range of motion that you could lift 120 or more. by doing partials properly you can stimulate the power point of each muscle. I wish I would have tried that when I was competing. (mind you , at my age there are a million things I wish I had done different)
thanx guys. Royalty, too bad the judges didn't agree with you!!Nether, I had quite wide shoulders, so even when my arms hit almost 21'' they still looked small dammit!!they are a bit over 20 here

he considered his competitive career over after he tore his pec in the late '80s, but I never even realized he injured it. I never noticed during his WBF days or any of these later shots.
