It's not just the back detail, but also the back thickness. Basically he was all (syntholed) delts from the back, mixed with average conditioning..

Check the pics posted by ND - his back was plenty thick. It's just, as ND said, at times towards the latter part of his career Nasser's back detail wasn't as good as it could be. From the front and side, though, he was still basically flawless and winning shows in arguably the toughest era.

I've seen tons of Nasser pics already, but we disagree about his back development..

Yeah not accurate his entire back was lacking in depth , detail and separation , his glutes were never really striated as well. His conditioning was awesome from the front but turn around for it , The heavier he became the more it suffered his delts too , which were at one time fully separated & striated but bigger and that's it , the oil ruined that

It's true if you look at more than one picture

Nasser from the front was phenomenal and in some poses from the front there is no doubt he beat me. But from the side he is very narrow and from the back there is no comparison really. You have to look at it logically. Let's say he beat me in the front relaxed pose and the front double bicep.

I will give him this. Did he beat me in the side triceps? No. In either of the back poses? No. Abs and thighs was close. So no, I don't think he deserved to win although he did look very good that year. But he looked good from certain angles. Some physiques you can't judge from a photograph; you have to be there.

It's the depth from the side in transition too. Watch them when compared, Nasser's back was shallow in comparison.

You're missing the point and one picture means nothing, You don't think his lackluster back can't be seen from the side?
