OK, so now a meltdown has been redefined to be, not the intensity of emotion, but the duration of the expression. So throwing a chair through a window is not a meltdown but giving an hour class/lecture on the consequences of drunk driving is.

Before this unfortunate episode, I really had no idea who you were. I never addressed you, never commented on any of your posts, never communicated with you.  Your board handle just blended in with the many on this board. Nothing about you drew my attention. Most are like that.

I make a comment expressing a subjective opinion about a bber, as I do with countless bbers in this cult, as countless others do as well. Even when I magnanimous admitted that what I said about Yates was not what I meant and if it wasn't taken that way then it was wrong. Now, this is keeping in mind that what I said and what anybody thought I meant really shouldn't matter because it's an opinion and if you think I stated it as a fact it still shouldn't matter because you can simply reject it. I didn't add this obvious caveat.

Now this should have ended it. If in a disagreement someone had, with the often painful twinge of self-effacing humility, told me that if there was any misunderstand or misinterpretation of what was said then it was wrong, it would have ended there for me. What more is left? That's how men behave.

But not with you. Even admitting it you spit in my face. Respond with mocking laughter and remarks and saying that I broke down because I was backed into a corner and a real man should have admitted he was wrong from the get go. So, in other words, if I say something you disagree with I should offer no debate or alternative viewpoints and simple concede you were right. So there's really nowhere else to go? So here we have it.
