Lately he has been whining about the government taxing his wealth too, and lately he has also encouraged men to watch less porn and instead spend more quality time with their woman. Sounds like he's waking up and slowly moving away from liberalism. The fact that you don't like him anymore is a clue.
He supported McCain in 2000 over Gore. He always said his and everyones taxes are too high due to the bloated budget of defense spending and he is right. He has always called himself an independent with liberal leanings. He, like any sane person, realizes that both parties are not that great at all, but the current Republicans are batshit and worthless.
